Do you have a coach? I’ve got a few, and they each serve a different purpose or fulfill a different need. I’d like to tell you about one: Rosemary Bredeson.
I met Rosemary when we were both members of Ali Brown’s Millionaire Protege Club in 2011. You know how sometimes you meet someone and you feel as if you’ve known each other forever? We had that kind of “click” instant recognition right from the beginning.
I originally hired her to work with me as my business coach. I liked that she seemed to combine a heart-centered, intuitive approach with a no-nonsense scientific background. She worked on the Hubble Space Telescope project! Since my background is in engineering, sometimes the coaches seem to “woo-woo” or “out there” for me to relate to. Since Rosemary is a mathematician, I figured we’d find some common ground — and we did.
It didn’t take me long to figure out, though, that while everything we talked about, dealt with, impacted my business, we weren’t really working ON my business. We were working on me. As a business owner, I know my business can’t grow and thrive if I don’t grow and thrive.
Over this past year, we’ve explored an awful lot of what I guess you can consider behind-the-scenes stuff. It’s really easy for me to live inside my head. I’m a logical, linear thinker. But you know what? Life isn’t linear and it sure isn’t logical. So Rosemary helps nme get out of my head and into my heart, where the important stuff happens.
It’s been a terrific year. I feel like I’ve made great strides in figuring out the ME part of all of this. I’ll be committing to another year with Rosemary when our current contract is up for renewal.
If you want a coach who can combine the logical with the illogical, the tangible with the intangible, contact Rosemary at http://www.rosemarybredeson.com and tell her I sent you!
